The Yellow Door sits on a corner lot in north Denver, a few blocks east of Federal at 58th Ave and Wyandot. Easy on/off to I-70 and I-76 for mountain runs and the airport, plus a short drive to most of the neighborhoods people come to Denver for: Tennyson Street, the Highlands, RiNo, downtown.

Outdoors and mountains
Sloan's Lake Park is 7 minutes away with a 2.6-mile loop. Berkeley Lake Park, Willis Case Golf Course, and Rocky Mountain Lake Park are all close. I-70 and I-76 on-ramps are a couple miles from the house, which puts Loveland Ski Area at about 57 miles, Winter Park at about 67, and Boulder around 30 minutes via US-36. We can vouch for the on-ramp; we can't vouch for I-70 traffic in the mountains.
Getting here
The address is 2301 W 58th Ave, Denver, CO 80221. From DIA, take Peña Blvd to I-70 west or I-76 west, about 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. From I-76, exit Federal Blvd and head south a few blocks. From I-70, take Federal Blvd (Exit 272) and head north. The driveway entrance is on the Wyandot St side. Two cars fit in the driveway, more under the back carport, and free street parking is available around the house.
Getting around
You'll want a car or rideshare. Most restaurants and nightlife are a 5 to 15 minute drive. Uber and Lyft are easy to find. Street parking is generally free and easy in most neighborhoods, though the Highlands and RiNo get busy on weekend evenings; arrive early or take a rideshare. I-70 and I-76 are both within a few miles for mountain trips and the airport.
